The Dissonance Book (2023)
Charting the eight-year journey bringing Dissonance from script to screen, The Dissonance Book draws together notebook extracts, screenplay drafts, paintings, personal correspondences and on set photography that went into the making of the film, as well as documentation of the film’s multi-disciplinary premiere at the Holywell Music Room featuring performances by members of The Soutine Quartet and a group exhibition by artists from The Ruskin School of Art in February 2023.

When I think of the film I become lost in memories that are now concealed in the dark reserve of the final cut. This book unmoors the film from this edit by revealing our experiences making Dissonance. I am thrilled to welcome you into the rehearsal studio to share intimate memories that I hope will further return the film to the realm of chamber music-making.

Kosher Giraffe Trilogy (2023)
Providing a home for the research that I have undertaken into my family history over the past two years, Kosher Giraffe Trilogy focusses on a series of three films: Standing Prayer; Letter: Primrose Hill, Spring Morning (Whithersoever you throw it…); enemy alien.
Documented along with a body of paintings, these works play on the tragicomic Jewish witticism that ‘giraffe meat would be Kosher, if only the Shochet knew where to cut the neck’ in an exploration of enemy alien internment during World War II.
